Olive Alexander

Olive Mae Alexander (nee Schwendemann), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Carl E. Alexander; cherished daughter of the late Michael and Irene Schwendemann; devoted mother of Wayne C. (the late Margie) Alexander and Terry E. (Peggy) Alexander; loving grandmother of Laura (Scott) Ilgenfritz, Matt Alexander, Lisa Isenberg, Jason Alexander and Andrew Alexander; treasured great-grandmother of 13; dear sister of Aleeta Vossenkemper; sister-in-law of Hatty Rosenkoetter; Olive is also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.  

Olive adored her sons and grandchildren, she loved to take care of her grandchildren and watching them grow up. She was a kid at heart and was energetic, funny, loving, stubborn and feisty. Olive loved feeding her family, sharing half a beer with her family and going on long drives and having fun with others. In her free time she loved going to garage sales and finding a good deal.  

Olive was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
