Oliver Jost

Oliver “Ollie” Adam Jost, of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Clara M. Jost; cherished son of the late Peter and Anna Jost; devoted father of Cheryl A. Nickl; loving grandfather of Kyle (Kristen) Nickl and Laine (Adam) Baldocchi; treasured great-grandfather of Olivia Nickl, Emily Nickl and Isaac Nickl; dear brother of the late Peter Jost, the late Emri Jost, the late Matthew Jost and the late Martin Jost.

Oliver proudly and honorably served in the US Army during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a motorcycle lover his whole life, for a time he was a Harley-Davidson Mechanic. He and Clara eloped on a Harley to Paragould, Arkansas. He was a model maker for Intertherm for many years until his retirement, he also played golf in the Intertherm Golf League. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life. Oliver was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Oliver's name to American Cancer Society.
