Oliver Ollie J. Thompson

'Ollie' Thompson, was born September 23, 1919 in St. Louis MO and died July 26, 2004 in St. Charles, MO. Oliver was married to Agnella Marie Ruf (Ruff) Thompson and to this wonderful union was born three children, Joann Marie Thompson, Darrell Eugene Thompson and Gerald (Jerry) Wayne Thompson. He was the second eldest of thirteen children born to John Albert Thompson and Minnie Ann Kunz-Grau. The children include Frances E. Thompson, Wilbert Thompson, Ethel Thompson Feltes, Eileen Thompson Chambers, Mary Thompson Brogan, John Thompson Jr,. Flora Thompson, Don-ald Thompson, Nelda Thompson, Maurice S. Thompson, Janet Thompson and Charles David Thompson. His wife, his daughter, his parents and eight brothers and sisters preceded Oliver in death. He is survived by sons Darrell (Janet) and Jerry, grandchildren Becky (Robert) Fritz, Debbie (George) Tophinke,, Teri (Gregory) Morrison and Darlene (Sean) Young, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of close friends. Oliver is also sur-vived by brothers John (Fran) Thompson Jr., Don-ald Thompson, sisters and sisters-in-law, Lester (Buddy) and Jane Ruff, Myrtle (Curly) McClintock and Lillian (Cotty) Orf. Ollie will be best remembered for his kind, gentle and loving approach to life. He truly was a saint among all men.
