Olivia “Libby” Pailer

Olivia “Libby” Pailer (nee Heidy) of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on Monday January 22, 2018, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of 66 wonderful years to Larry “Bim” Pailer; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Clara Heidy; devoted mother of Teresa Lynn Kendrick and Renee Louise (Tim) Henke; loving grandmother of Michelle (Michael) O'Sullivan, Bradley (Edye) Kendrick, Anthony (Jenna) Henke, Abby Henke, and Alex Henke; treasured great-grandmother of Cameron and Chase Kendrick, Shane and Lauren O'Sullivan, and Layla and Kira Henke; dear sister of Ida Grace Johnson. Olivia is preceded in death by her beloved grandson Kyle Christopher Henke, and her siblings Eunice Hunt, Mildred Stark, Muriel Moore, Carl Heidy, and Vernon Heidy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, her precious dog Cricket, and 7 treasured grand-dogs.

Olivia, affectionately known by many as “Grandma Libby”, was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette, and a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton. She loved quilting, embroidery, and needlework and belonged to two quilting groups. She had a loving spirit and bestowed many handmade gifts on family and friends. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at Warrenton Elementary School. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
