Dear wife of the late Richard H. Smith, Jr.; dear daughter of the late Emelia Tijerina; loving mother of John (Pyong Sun) W. DeSpain, Dorothy A. DeSpain, Evelyn J. DeSpain, CJ (Nelson) Roberts, Sara L. Brown, Richard (Sheri) H. Smith, III and the late Thomas Miles and John H.; proud grandmother of fourteen, great-grandmother of twenty-five, great great-grandmother of three; dearest cousin of Mary Stassi; dear sister of Juanita (Leonardo) Salinas and Alta Guajardo. Dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to all who knew her. She was retired, after 19 years, as an inventory control clerk at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
