Omar Leo Griesenauer

Omar Leo Griesenauer, of St. Charles, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the age of 88. Loving husband and best friend of Virginia L. Griesenauer (nee: Riek) for 63 years; dear son of the late Raymond W. and Alvina Griesenauer. Devoted father of Ronald (Deronnda) Griesenauer, Quentin (Sandra) Griesenauer , Randell (Angelia) Griesenauer, Claudia (Ken) King, Lori (David) Kliethermes, and Amy Joseph) Jezik; cherished grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Virginia Burkemper, Alice Griesenauer, and Raymond Griesenauer. Mr. Griesenauer is preceded in death by his sisters Regine Sommer, Lucille Schwendemann, Viola Wilmes, Marie Madden, and brothers Charles Griesenauer, and Jimmy Griesenauer. Mr. Griesenauer was employed as a Machinist at Wagner Electric for 42 years before he retired. He was also a long time member of St. Charles Borromeo, American Legion St. Charles (VFW), Knights of Columbus, the Coon Hunters Club, and the 100 Dance Club.
