Omer “Steve” Dickerson

Omer “Steve” Dickerson of St. Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 69 on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Dickerson Jr.

Steve is survived by his wife, Debra Dickerson; his children, Bradley Dickerson and Lori (Nathan) Adkerson; his grandchildren, Mason, Madalyn, Alexis, and Logan Adkerson; his mother, Betty Joe Dickerson; his siblings, Micah (Marilyn) Dickerson and Larry (Mary) Dickerson; and he was an uncle and friend to many.

Steve was a beloved, faithful member of Mid America Baptist Church. He cherished his church community and all the great friendships he made there over the years. He was truly a pillar of the church and contributed so much from the loving presence he lent to the doughnuts he brought in for the children on Sundays.

Steve was a kind, compassionate soul who wanted nothing more than to make people laugh and smile. He was always easy to talk to and made a lasting impact in so many lives. Above everything, Steve was a devoted family man who loved his wife, kids, and grandkids with all that he had. Hardly a day went by where Steve wouldn’t tell someone how lucky he was to have Debra in his life or how proud he was of his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
