Opal Hahs

April 24, 1916 — November 29, 2014

Hahs, Opal, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the age of 98. Loving wife of William E. Hahs; beloved daughter of the late Richard and Nellie McQuay; devoted mother of Betty (Wayne) Jackson and Ed (Tammy) Hahs; cherished grandmother of Terry (Randy) Nelson, James (Erin) Hahs, William R. Hahs, and Jeff D. Desoner; treasured great-grandmother of Matt (Michelle) Nelson, MacKenzie Nelson, and Tyler Desoner; aunt, cousin and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her brothers Eldres, Elisie, Jim, Mac, Joe, Pat and John McQuay, sisters Marg Ousley and Reva Haake, daughter Barbara Anderson, and son Charles Colabianchi.
Opal was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and people. Most of all she loved her family. She will be dearly missed.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
