Comfort, Opal M., of St. Peters, Missouri, long time resident of O'Fallon, MO, died on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at the age of 82. Dearest wife of the late Louis L. Comfort; dear daughter of the late Philip M. and the late Millie Adams; loving mother of Linda (Ray) Kendrick, Shirley Comfort, Gale (Ralph) Teasley and Kim (Keith) Busche; treasured grandmother of Marilee Teasley, Chris Teasley and James Kendrick; cherished great-grandmother of Corey Teasley; dear sister of Pauline Adams, Betty Ferrell, Ava Lee Comfort, Anna Marie (Robert) Horn, George (Sharon) Adams and Dorothy Weber; beloved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, god-mother, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Neola McKay, Henry Adams and Neleta Maloney. Opal has been a member of the Dardenne Presbyterian Church, the St. Charles Presbyterian Church, and the Cuba Presbyterian Church. As a church member, she was involved with Children's Choir, teaching Sunday School, active with Prayer Network, and Presbyterian Women's Circle. In earlier years, she was very involved with the Crawford County Extension Services in Cuba, MO. Opal was a talented seamstress. She was also a Leader of Lonestar 4-H Club in Crawford County, teaching cooking and sewing.
