Opal Lea Werder (nee Taylor), of Highland, IL, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 90. Preceded in death by Curtis and Eunice (nee Schrader) Taylor; husband, Eugene Werder; son, Philip Werder; brothers, James (Dorothy) Taylor, and Joseph Taylor. Survived by son, William “Joe” (Colleen) Marr, son, Thomas Marr; daughter-in-law Theresa (Dugan) Werder; son, Michael Werder, daughter, Carel (William) Reynolds; brothers, John Taylor and Curtis Taylor; grandchildren, Nick (Tara) Marr, Jeanette Marr, Ryan (Brittni) Marr, Tobias (Stephenie) Boisvert Jr., Zachary Werder, Gregory (Michelle) Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Milani Marr, Haylee King, Hayven, Guetschow, Karlee Marr, Hannah Boisvert, James Boisvert, Carter Reynolds, Nora Reynolds, and Myhlah Werder.

Opal was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
