He was born September 5, 1926 in Anderson, Missouri, to Henry and Carrie Leuellen. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II. He was a member of American Legion #1000 and the Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maxine Leuellen of St. Peters; one daughter, Cary (Gary) Embick of Granite City, Illinois; and two sons, Rich (Paula) Leuellen of O’Fallon and Mark (Lania) Leuellen of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jerry, and one grandson, Chad Hackman.,
