Orville O. Lind

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul at St. Cletus or SSM Hospice. Orville O. Lind, of St. Charles, Missouri, died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the age of 80. Loving husband for 54 years to Lorraine (nee: Kennedy). Beloved father of Janet, husband Michael. Cherished grandfather of Chris and Patrick. Dear son of the late Oscar and Rose Lind. Dear brother of Jim (Nelly) Lind, Byron (Rachel) Lind, and Liane Bascou. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Orville was born in Minot, ND. Raised on the family farm in Clarissa, MN. Served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Retired after 38 ½ years from McDonnell Douglas, now Boeing. Faithful usher for 43 years at St. Cletus Church. Member of American Legion Post 312. The family wishes to express gratitude to SSM Hospice and Missouri Cancer Center for their compassionate care.
