Oscar H. Nadler, Jr.

Oscar Nadler, Jr., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the age of 79. Loving husband of late Lorraine E. Nadler (nee: Iffrig); dear son of the late Oscar H. and Edna M. Nadler; devoted father of Renè (Ron) Tune, Terri Nadler, Scott (Kathleen) Nadler, Randy (Yvonne) Nadler, Stephanie (Ron) English, and Tricia (Jim) Johnson; cherished grandfather of 20 and great-grandfather of 8 with 2 on the way; dear brother of Larry (Jewel) Nadler, Leroy (Sue) Nadler, and Hadley (the late Debbie) Nadler. He is preceded in death by his sister Dorothy "Dot" Jones and sister-in-law Nancy Nadler.
Oscar proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was a heavy equipment operator with Local 513 for over 50 years, and was instrumental in the construction of several Six Flags Amusement Parks in the U.S.  He was a charter member of the Harvester Lions Club, and a dedicated supporter of the St. Charles County Fair.  Oscar truly enjoyed his favorite pastimes of raising cattle and putting up hay. In his spare time, he went snagging with his boys, and boating at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family and friends. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
