Otto Tockstein

Tockstein, Otto, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Monday, January 18, 2016, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Tockstein; cherished son of the late George and Eleanor Tockstein; devoted father of Patricia (Mark) Callier, Teresa (Paul) Boschert, and Lori Goedert; loving grandfather of Mike (Tricia) Boschert, Vicki (Tim) Ruble, Jill (Mike) Hatfield, Jenny (Craig) Dese, Matthew Callier, Adam Goedert, and Emily Goedert; treasured great-grandfather of Alexis, Evan, Ben, Connor, Ava, Maya, Noah, Aidan, Ella, and Sam; dear brother of William Tockstein, Donald (Doris) Tockstein, Raymond (Judy) Tockstein, Carol (Carl) Gilliam, Melvin (Marge) Tockstein, and Suzanne (Fred) Tavares.

Otto was preceded in death by his brothers: George Tockstein, Robert Tockstein, Glen Tockstein, and Kenneth Tockstein.

Otto proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, United States Air Force, and was a member of the Commemorative Air Force. One of his most notable accomplishments was his years working on the Air Force One in the Kennedy-Johnson era. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
