Parsotamdas O. Shah

Shah, Parsotamdas O., of St. Louis, Missouri, and formerly of India died on Monday, February 23, 2009 at the age of 84. Dear husband of Kusumben Shah, Dear Son of the late Ochchhavlal and Chandanben Shah, Loving Father of Sudhirkumar (Sonalben), Rashmikumar (Anjnaben), Dilipkumar (Shilpaben), Bhupendrakumar (Hemaben), and the late Mukeshkumar Shah; Cherished Grandfather of Shivam (Dhwani), Sneha, Swapnil (Khyati), Milap, Heta, Anuja, Saumya, Sejal, Shailee, Saager, and Satyam. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Kanubhai Shah, and his younger sister, Poonamben Shah. Parsotamdas was a freedom fighter with Mahatma Gandhi and went to jail in this fight at the age of 17. He was known as a hardworking and simple man who was a big "karma yogi," ("he never focused on the fruit of his labors but always fulfilled his duties to the fullest ability with the purest intentions"). He will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends.
