Pat M. Caldwell (nee Miller), of Ballwin, MO, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2018 after an incredible life of 77 years. Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valley Park. She was a beloved Aunt, Godmother, and loyal friend to many.
Pat was born on February 25, 1941 to Frank and Nettie Miller in Portageville, Missouri. She was the younger sister to Glenn and Clyde Miller. Her early years were spent on a family farm in southeast Missouri. Later she moved to St. Louis with her mother Nettie. Pat had an amazing 39-year career with the St. Louis Police Department and was their first female Civilian Commander and Director of the Supply Division.
Pat loved to spend her leisure time golfing, fishing, traveling, and volunteering. Pat was a season ticket holder for the Cardinals and enjoyed time rooting for them with her friends. She loved to spend time with family and friends at her backyard barbecues and family reunions. Pat loved to meet new people and was quick to start a conversation. It has been said many times that “Pat knew no strangers.”
