Pat Oertle

Oertle, Pat, (nee: Kemper), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Oliver E. Oertle; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Ruby Kemper; devoted mother of Steve (Debbie) Oertle and Patti (Kevin) VanBuskirk; loving grandmother of Melanie (Brent) Ackerman, Joshua (Wendy) Oertle, Alicia (Ryan) Leonowicz, Luke (Amy) VanBuskirk, Hannah VanBuskirk, and Caleb (Asia) VanBuskirk; treasured great-grandmother of Jackson, Charlotte, Olivia, Jackilyn, Alexander, Owen, Gracie, Ellie, Matthew, Mylah, and Jude; dear sister of Bud (Rhoda) Kemper, and Jack (Carolyn) Kemper; loving sister-in-law of Rosann Kemper; dear aunt and friend to many.

Pat was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Aaron VanBuskirk and her brother, Robert Kemper.

Pat enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and playing pinochle. She will be remembered for her delicious potato salad and deviled eggs. Most of all, Pat will be remembered for being the most loving mother and grandmother. Pat was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
