Werner, Gwen “Pat” (nee Burggrabe) of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of 61 years to Warren Werner; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Gwen Burggrabe; devoted mother of Pam (Bill) Koppen, Cindy (Ed) Sbrocco, and Amy (Chris) Jarus; loving grandmother of Katie and Melissa Sbrocco, Logan (Tyler), Max, and Addison Jarus, and Gus and Sam Koppen; dear sister of Fran Robison and Jane (Ken) Voelkerding; Pat is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pat was a long-time member of the Church of the Master UCC in Florissant, MO. Pat was also a member of the Lea-Thi-Ta (Learning, Thinking, Talking) study group that raised funds for the acquisition of art for the St. Louis Art Museum. She enjoyed playing tennis, playing bridge and bunco. Pat loved to cook and entertain family and friends, most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking them all over St. Louis and going on family vacations. The most recent family vacation was to celebrate Pat’s 80th birthday where she ziplined in the Rockies. Pat was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
