Patrice A. “Pat” Ballew

Patrice A. “Pat” Ballew (nee Jones), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 68.  Loving wife of 45 years to David N. Ballew, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Charles and Maxine Jones; dear sister of Nancy (Ronnie) Morton, Marieta (Larry) Boone, and David (Paulette) Jones. Pat was also preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Beck, Jean Ellen Mullen, Mark Jones, John Jones, and Stanley Jones.

Pat met David, at Cincinnati Bible Seminary, they became the best of friends and married after falling in love.  She was a member of Harvester Christian Church since 1988, where she loved to volunteer and participate in bible studies.  She retired from the U.S. Government after more than 20 years as a budget analyst.

Pat was a master crafter and was the most imaginative person you could ever meet.  She had a talent for making cards; pop-up cards and creative sentiment cards.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Gatlinburg, and she cherished the little shops with handmade keepsakes.  She also dabbled in photography and posted wonderful pictures to her iPad Community almost every day.

In her younger years, Pat liked to play the piano and she often found her own rhythmic tune.  She loved to watch shows on her iPad, and her favorites were Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, and A Family Affair.  Pat was a quiet, conservative, and a quirky person.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pat's name to Harvester Christian Church General Fund.
