Patricia Ann Malon, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at the age of 73. Loving wife of Raymond F. Malon; beloved daughter of James and Marilyn Turner; devoted mother of Ray A. (Janet) Malon, Rachel (Greg Goe) Malon, and Carrie (Randy Gillis) Metcalf; cherished grandmother of Alexis Rae Allen, Katarina Malon, Connor Malon, Amelia Metcalf, and Lucas Metcalf; dearest sister of Karen (Wayne) Olendorff, Marilyn Paul, Colleen (Michael) Toczylowski, Michael (Patricia) Turner, James (Beverly) Turner, and Joan (Roger) Flagg.
Patricia and Raymond have celebrated 51 years of marriage, and it all started with an adventurous date to the ice-skating rink. She retired after more than 21 years as a dedicated nurse, which she truly found her passion in caring for others.
Patricia enjoyed traveling and going on road trips with her husband. One of her favorite places to travel was to the beach in Destin, Florida. She loved her grandchildren dearly and cherished spending time with them. In her spare time, Patricia could be found curled up reading her favorite books, usually a mystery novel. She also loved to listen to music of all kinds. Patricia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Patricia's name to American Lung Association.
