Patricia Ann Benton

Patricia Ann Benton (nee Wright), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Benton; cherished daughter of the late Evelyn and Val J. Wright; devoted mother of Linda S. (John) Oates, and Steve Benton; loving grandmother of Brian (Amanda) Oates, Wesley (Megan) Oates, Andy Benton, and Danny (Kim) Benton; treasured great grandmother of 10; precious aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patricia was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Joe (the late Linda) Wright, and Gene (Pat) Wright.
Patricia, once an active member of the Women's Society at Cornerstone Methodist Church, found solace in gardening and tending to her lawn following her husband's passing. Engaged in a card group and a birthday club, she cherished gatherings with friends. Her affection for children and the significance of family were central to her life. Patricia's warm presence endeared her to many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Memorials may be made in Patricia's name to Assumption Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul, or St. Jude.
