Patricia Mae Brown

Patricia Mae Brown (nee Wallace), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 76.
Originally from Monette, AR, Patricia was born November 7, 1947, to the late E. R. (Jeff) and Hazel Wallace.
She was a 1965 graduate of Monette High School in AR. 

Patricia (Pat) was the beloved wife of the late Gary Brown; loving mother of Rhonda Ashley; treasured grandmother of Ian (Lexie) Ashley; devoted great-grandmother of Addy Ashley; dear sister of Scott (Dena) Wallace and the late Larry Wallace; loving aunt and cherished sister-in-law to many; beloved friend and neighbor. 

Patricia spent 40 plus years of her professional life working for Dick Jones as the chief financial officer at his automobile dealerships and as his personal business manager.  She retired as the co-owner of Gary Brown Automotive in 2014.   

Patricia enjoyed gardening, photography, bird watching, and she adored her dogs. Patricia and Gary were married on September 26, 1981, and spent many years traveling and going on cruises together.  Some of their favorite vacation spots were Aruba, Cozumel, Cancun, Paradise Island, Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Arizona.  In her free time, she loved watching and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.   

Patricia was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Family and friends are invited to Baue Cave Springs Funeral Home located at 3950 W Clay St, St. Charles, MO on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. Visitation is 10 – 11 am, and the service will begin at 11 am. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Patricia’s name to Five Acres Animal Shelter or St. Louis Children’s Hospital or a tree be planted in her name.
