Patricia Hercules

Patricia Louise Hercules (nee Sammelmann), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Francis Hercules; cherished daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha Sammelmann; devoted mother of Debbie (Steve) Schneider, Diana Hercules, Daryl (Julie) Hercules and Duane (Joy) Hercules; loving grandmother of Jason (Mandy Ferrel) Draut, Brent (Ashley Catania) Schneider, Brittany (Brandon) Burkard, Leah (Todd) Wilson, Caylen Schneider, Dylan (Morgan Kee) Schneider, Bryan Hercules, Logan Hercules, Danielle Hercules, and Kendra (Matthew) Palacios; treasured great-grandmother of Hannah, Callie, Olivia, Connor, Paige, Hudson, Brooks and Posey; dear sister of Jane (John) Edwards, the late Harold (the late Lyda) Sammelmann, the late Elmer (Connie) Sammelmann, and the late Helen (the late Mark) Cohn.

Patricia was a woman of faith and a long-time, active parishioner of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. As God called her home, she went peacefully holding her Rosary in her hands. She was a very kind woman and loved her friends and family immensely. She was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia loved spending time in her flower gardens. Colorful flowers brought her so much joy. She enjoyed playing bridge and was part of several bridge groups. She also loved golfing and reading. For many years, she worked as a school aide and was happy to share a warm smile with those school children. Very active, she did not retire until after her 90th birthday. You would also find her donating her time as a volunteer for the less fortunate. She had a very generous soul. Patricia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial donations may be made in Patricia's name to St. Peter’s Catholic Church or Father Bob's Outreach, or Duchesne High School.

A memorial funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 19th at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 221 First Capitol Dr., Saint Charles, MO 63301 at 10:30 am. Visitation prior, beginning at 9:30 am.

A luncheon to follow held at the Knights of Columbus, 20 Westbury Dr., St. Charles, MO 63301 from noon until 2:00 pm.
