Patricia D. Jensen

November 23, 1955 — June 29, 2023

Patricia D Jensen (nee Wilson), of Wenztville, MO, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of late Lance Randal Jensen; cherished daughter of the late David D. and Dianne Wilson. Devoted mother of Katherine (Derek) Bauman and Andrew (Sydnni Ahlheim) Jensen; loving grandmother of Kayleigh Bauman, Tessa Bauman, Audrey Bauman, and Luigi Caldwell; dear sister of Jon (Kristal) Wilson; treasured aunt of Joshua Wilson, Jacob Wilson, and Jonah Wilson.

Patti was a deeply caring woman who loved her family. Those who knew her best, understood that they could turn to Patti for love, support and advice. From the early age of 18 she set out to support her family by taking a job at McDonell Douglass, later Boeing and would spend the next 47 years working her way up through the company. She eventually became involved in Records Management where she built lifelong meaningful friendships.

She built a wonderful home with her husband Lance and two children in Spanish Lake, Missouri. There she managed to maintain her home and full-time career and found a passion for her hobbies, including cross stitch and gardening. She loved Gerber Daisies and Hydrangeas, spending many hot afternoons working in her garden. She loved shopping in Old Town St. Charles with her mother and collecting new additions to add to her Christmas Village, which she put up each year.

Later in her career, she and her husband bought their dream home in Wentzville, where she found new passions such as needle point, quilting, and native gardening, with her daughter Katie.  She shared her passions with her son Andy, who now also works for Boeing and is attempting to grow a garden of his own. She was an avid reader of crime dramas and spent time with her granddaughters, Kayleigh, Tessa and Audrey, helping with homework and getting them to appointments. Patti was also an excellent cook, and her grandchildren always looked forward to her dinners. She loved going to dinner with her family and laughing at her sons-in-law silly jokes that always made her smile.

Patti will be greatly missed by all her knew her and her family is grateful that she is at peace.

Memorials may be made in Patricia's name to Wild Ones Native Plants St. Charles Area.
