Patricia Maye Harrison

Patricia Maye Harrison, age 54 peacefully passed away on Sunday with her daughter by her side after battling for two months with a cancer that was to aggressive to overcome and an unruly infection that kept reappearing. She is now in God’s hands with her mother "who she missed greatly" among other family and friends who touched her heart. A dear daughter of Walter Harrison and the late Gloria Harrison; loving mother of Christine Harrison; caring sister of Linda Harrison; soul mate of Dwayne Armstrong; joyous niece of Diane Johnson, Tom Lathy, Daniel Lathy and the late Frank Harrison and Joann Dodson; special cousin of Rick Johnson, Scott Johnson, Nathanial Lathy, Rachel Lathy, Derrick Harrison, Chris Dodson, Larry Dodson as well as second and third cousins; a devoted friend to all that she crossed paths with and a beloved second mother to many. Through her life she had many journeys. Being a mother and a best friend to her daughter was her greatest treasure; She enjoyed spending time with the love of her life; Snuggling up with her dog Bun-buns; She loved vacations with her family to Colorado; Trips with her sister to Florida and Cancun and time spent listening to rock n roll records they loved; Holidays with crazy cousins; Backyard BBQ's and get togethers with friends; A devoted employee to Venture Stores for 18+ years; She volunteered her time to Habitat for Humanity, Animal shelters and local hospitals; After being cured of her first cancer she became an advocate, helping others with cancer to learn how to cope with the day to day struggles. Always eager to lend an ear or advise to a friend or children that viewed her as a mother. Patricia was a trusting, caring, loving and extraordinary woman taken too soon.
