Patricia Pat Barklage

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to SSM Hospice. Patricia 'Pat' Barklage arrived in heaven Monday, April 22, 2002, and now she is dancing with Jesus. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Edmund C. Barklage; her parents, Alois and Florence Dempsey; and her brother, Robert. Survived by her sister, Barbara J. Stuart. Loving mother of nine children, Keith Barklage (Julie), Amanda Zerwig (Gene), Kristine Moore (John), Melinda Stallman (Ken), Kim Barklage (Judi), E.J. Barklage (Joy), Kevin Barklage ( Rhea), Barbara Weiss (Chris), and Patrick Barklage (Rebecca). Sweet Grams to 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pat was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Cottleville, where she was a member of the VIP and Canasta Clubs. Employed full time all of her life, but most recently worked for Famous Barr in Chesterfield. Pat never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
