Patricia Savio

Patricia Ruth Savio, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Savio, daughter of the late Thomas McKernon and Ruth Elizabeth Aubuchon and stepfather, Virgil Aubuchon. Preceded in death by her brother Thomas (Rosemary) McKernon. Devoted mother of Cathy (Keith) Moyer, Paul (Karen) Bauer, Kim (George) Acsay, Karen (Rene Hoppenbrouwers) Bauer, and Joseph (Kay) Savio, Tina (Tom) Grimm. Preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne Bauer and stepson Richard Savio.

Patricia was a loving grandmother to Lindsay (Patrick) Wheeler, Kara (Christopher Hunsinger) Moyer, Tony Deniszczuk, Nick (Emily) Savio, Samantha (Tyler) Bredehoeft, Kayla Savio, Katelyn Savio, Alex Bauer, Paul Bauer, Max Hoppenbrouwers. Proud great-grandmother to Luke and Rachel Wheeler, Joseph and Isabella Deniszczuk, Dominic Hunsinger, Leo Savio. Dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Pat was a talented hairdresser, and she enjoyed working with her customers over many years. She was also a wonderful cook. She had a great laugh and sense of humor. She was extremely generous. She especially loved the holidays and always made them so special for her family. She also loved to travel with Joe. In her later years, she made several solo trips to Florida and to The Netherlands to visit her daughters and their families. Her adventures took her to many places, including Normandy, France, which held a special place in her heart,

Patricia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Patricia's name to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
