Patricia Sue McCauley (nee McCulloch)
Patricia (referred to by friends and family as Patty, Pat, or Hairpin), along with her devoted husband of 45 years, Michael McCauley, considered having a close-knit family their greatest achievement, specifically their two daughters, Mary Christine (Chrissy) McCauley Brown, and Colleen McCauley Schuler. Patty is also survived by her adored son-in-law, Nathan Schuler, and grandkids Kailey, Courtney, Katrina, and J.C. Brown, Brant Ragsdale and Aidan Schuler – all of whom provided her with many laughs and reasons to brag.
On one of the all-time hottest days in the history of St. Louis, MO, at a whopping 102 degrees, Patty was born to Patrolman, Paul McCulloch and Irish woman, Anne Moran McCulloch, the third child of four with sister, Peggy McCulloch Dougherty (Tom), and brothers Robert McCulloch (Carolyn) and Joseph McCulloch (Debbie), (d. Patricia).
Patty was loved by many, including Aunt Patricia Tipton McCulloch, cousins, Mary Catherine Moran Young, Margie Moran Hoormann, and Tom Moran, nieces, nephews, friends and of course, dog Cooper.
Much will be missed about Patty, especially occasions where dancing is involved, and all forms of singing --- at parties, in the car, at home, but most of all, her knack of getting the lyrics wrong, yet making them all the more memorable.
