Dear husband of Susan Strouse; dear son of Mary (Fred) Quiel and the late Harry Sanborn; devoted father of Dawn (Chris) Stumpf, step-father of Amy Strouse and John Strouse; beloved grandfather of Jake Stumpf; step-grandfather of Leah Strouse Isiaha, Mikala and Caleb Strouse; dear brother of Diane (John) Openlander; dear uncle of John (Lynn) Openlander, Jr., Tim (Wendy) Openlander and great-uncle of Tessa, Taylor and Parker Openlander. He is preceded in death by 1st wife, Sharon Sanborn. He was employed as a Auto Mechanic at Machinist Union Local 777. He was a member of Machinist Union Local 777 District 9, Lifetime Member of D.A.V. 100% Service Connected, Airforce. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
