Pat Chapman

Pat Chapman (nee Lindsay), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Howard Chapman; beloved daughter of the late Jim and Pauline Lindsay; devoted mother of Paula (Steve) Minogue; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Josh) Blake, Patrick (Breanna) Minogue, and Laura (Andrew) Chael; treasured great-grandmother of Sophia, Mia, and like a great-grandmother to Emma; aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Pat is also preceded in death by her siblings Sue Hitt and Bob Lindsay. 

Pat enjoyed a successful 40-year career in banking, rising to the role of loan officer. She was a card player, family-oriented, and a skilled cook who established the tradition of Sunday Dinners. Pat loved hosting gatherings, feeding people, and sharing laughter. She kept up to date on the news, loved socializing, and had a good sense of humor. Her love for pets was evident, she traveled extensively throughout the United States, and enjoyed Alton Eagles Fried Chicken Dinners with family and friends. Pat's warm nature, sense of humor, and family values left a lasting impact, and she is dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Pat's name to the St. Charles Pet Adoption Center.
