Paul F. Niedner

Niedner, Sr., Paul F., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Helen Niedner; beloved son of the late Rev. Dr. Frederic and Dorothea Niedner; devoted father of Charles W. (Barbara) Niedner; dear father-in-law of Barb Niedner; cherished grandfather of Bart (Michelle) Niedner, Matthew (Nicole) Niedner, Katherine (Steve) Niedner, Jamie (Jeff) Ebert, Rebecca Niedner, Peter (Stacy) Bolte, and Penny Garrett; treasured great-grandfather of 10; and dear brother of Carolyn Finck. He is preceded in death by his son, Paul Fredric Niedner, Jr.; second wife, Catherine Pundmann; brothers, Robert V. Niedner, Rev. Walter Niedner, and Rev. Fredric Niedner; and sister, Virginia Cortese. Paul worked on oil drilling rigs and as a cowboy during the depression. He served at sea in the Merchant Marine during World War II. After the war, Paul became a prominent attorney in St. Charles, Missouri, where he practiced law for over 50 years with Niedner Law Firm. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
