Paul Herbert Dickherber, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 65 years to Shirley Dickherber (nee Pitman); cherished son of the late Clarence and Katherine Dickherber; devoted father of Mark (Sherry) Dickherber, Kellie (Randy) Keling, John (Rhonda) Dickherber, and the late Bev Hagenhoff, survived by son-in-law Steve Hagenhoff; loving grandfather of Brad, Connie, Dena, Rachael, Heather, Lauren, Jacob, Paul and Olivia; treasured great-grandfather of Carmine, Tino, Brooklyn, Owen, Boone and Henry; cherished brother of Clarice Curl, Cathy Gnade, Lorraine Doza, and the late Clem Dickherber.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his family as a kind and honest man, who could talk to anyone and never knew a stranger. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and he was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville, MO. Paul loved his time spent as a Little League coach in St. Charles, so much so that he continued coaching for over twenty years. Paul loved being outdoors as well, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his beloved dogs, Hondo and Caisie. Paul was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
