Paul J. Steimel

Paul J. Steimel, age 84, of St. Peters, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his residence in St. Peters. A Son of the late Alvin Paul Steimel and the late Audrey Knoblocker Steimel, Paul was born on September 1, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri. Paul was married to the late Santa Steimel on November 29, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri. Paul entered into service of his country on Saturday, October 31, 1942 as a member of the U.S.Navy and was discharged on Saturday, January 19, 1946. He was retired as a Captain with the Spanish Lake Fire Department. He is survived by his children, Marty (JoAnn) Steimel, Dale Hilligardt, Sam Steimel, and Bob (Carol) Steimel; his nine cherished grandchildren and his six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty (John) McGuire.
