Paul G. Woerner

Paul felt lucky in life and enjoyed every moment while living it to the fullest. By nature, he was a positive person. He was calm, kind, and genuinely caring. His family describes him as an eternal optimist. He enjoyed spending time at his farm in Black, MO and looked forward to entertaining his family and friends. He also loved to travel and did so extensively. In his lifetime, he and Ruby visited nearly 100 countries.  

Paul and Ruby were together for 67 years, married for 65 of those years, and built a wonderful family together. Family was a very important part of Paul’s life. He believed in learning about his family and his heritage. He traveled extensively, even before genealogy became more accessible, finding his relatives far and wide. He was proud of his family and their history.  

Paul was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Paul's name to a VFW Post of your choice or Disabled Veterans.
