Paula Dean Courtney

Paula Dean Courtney (nee Jones), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Freddie Courtney; cherished daughter of the late Paul Andrew and Thelma S. Jones. Devoted mother of Todd Courtney and April (Matt Poinsett) Courtney; loving grandmother of Philip Scott; dear sister of Pat Wright, Don Jones; loving partner of Porter Hood. 

Paula was a devoted Southern Baptist with a vibrant, social personality who never met a stranger. She had a passion for crafting, collecting antiques, and traveling, whether to Branson or Florida. Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year, and she celebrated it with unmatched enthusiasm. Each year, she chose a new theme and added a special ornament to her cherished collection. Known for her love of the holiday, Paula made Christmas truly magical. Above all, her faith and church were the cornerstones of her life, reflecting her deep devotion and unwavering spirit. Paula was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
