Paula D. Ashbaugh (nee: Nichols), of St. Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at the age of 62. Loving wife of Jeffery Ashbaugh; beloved daughter of the late James, Sr. and Agnes Nichols; devoted mother of Michelle (Michael) Smith, Scott (Jenn) Rogers, and Angie Ashbaugh; cherished grandmother of Mariyah Foster, Bryson Smith, Savannah Smith, Sierra Smith, Garrett Smith, Tyler Rogers, Tanner Rogers, Natalie Ashbaugh, Marcus Ashbaugh, Nicole Foster, Jake Foster, and Eli Foster; treasured great-grandmother of Jaxson, Teagan, and Rylan; dear sister of James (Sue) Nichols, Jr., Jennifer (Dennis) Estes, Penny (Gary Sr.) Foster, and Rocky Nichols, Sr.; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael, her daughter Heather Ashbaugh, and her sister Candy Craven.
Paula enjoyed picnicking, going to Busch Wild Life and taking care of people. Mostly, she loved being with her family and friends. Paula will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
