Pauline Marko

Pauline Marko of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She is survived by her son, Martin F. Marko; her grandchildren, Holly Marko, Elizabeth Marko, Joseph Marko, Madison Marko, Morgan Marko, and Megan Marko; her siblings, Victor (Linda) Celano, Charles Celano, Kathy (Joe) Thompson, and David Celano; and her daughter-in-law, Amy Marko.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Marko; her son, Gary P. Marko; and her parents, Dominic and Mamie Celano.

Pauline retired from Stephen Blackhurst Elementary after over 30 years of teaching and inspiring students. She was always active and full of energy, never content to slow down but instead always looking for the next big adventure. After retiring, Pauline continued her passion for travel and made great memories through riding a donkey down the Grand Canyon, skydiving, snow skiing, and braving the waters while white water rafting. There was always a special place in Pauline’s heart for her family and she treasured the time they all spent together over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
