Pauline O'Brien

Pauline Louise O'Brien (nee Catlett), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Joseph O'Brien Jr.; cherished daughter of the late William and Sarah Catlett. Devoted mother of Andrew J. (Shirley) O'Brien, III and the late Catherine O'Brien-Hille; loving grandmother of Jessica (Ramiro Martinez) Rice, Ellen (Christopher) Ramey nee: Rice, Patrick (Amy) Rice, Elizabeth (Daniel) Clark nee; Rice, Steven (Emily) Hille, and Caitlin O'Brien; treasured great-grandmother of MacKenzie Martinez, Sophie Martinez, R.J. Martinez, Tate Ramey, Brayden Ramey, Jade Spruiel, Maryah Spruiel, Patrick Joseph Rice, Geneivie Clark, Trinity Clark, Isaac Clark, Cadence Clark, Austyn Schnur, and Steven James Hille; dear sister of Michael (Ann) Catlett, Virginia (Jim) Bailey, Catherine (the late Bill) Amos, Margie (the late Walter) King, and Gertrude Moses; sister-in-law of Theresa Fusche; beloved aunt and friend. Preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Hodges and Veronica Adams; three brothers, Edward Catlett, Joseph Catlett, and Roy Catlett.

Pauline had wisdom beyond her years. She was the type of person that anyone could talk with her about any and everything in life.  Pauline will be remembered for her smile that would brighten everyone’s day along with her friendly disposition and all the conversations around the kitchen table. Pauline was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
