Pauline Pearl Jacob (nee Cooper) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Thursday March 26, 2019 at the age of 92. She was born on November 8, 1926 in Summersville, Mo; beloved daughter of the late George and Minnie Cooper. At the age of 18 she moved to St. Louis, Missouri. Later she met the late Emil Jacob. On August 27, 1949, they were married for 62 years. Devoted mother of Janet (Jeff) Tegeler and the late Roger Jacob; cherished grandmother of Ben (Sienna) Tegeler; treasured great-grandmother of Otto, and Edie Tegeler; mother-in law to Eva Jacob. Pauline is preceded in death by her brothers; Eli, Elmer, Henry, Roy, and Homer; sisters, Maudie, Velma, Edith, Ann, Goldie, and Bonnie.
Pauline was a retired designer from Orchid Dell Florist after 25 years. She loved animals, feeding the birds and was proud to have raised an orphaned pig. In her younger years Pauline liked to go square dancing with her husband and going to their cabin on the Gasconade River to spend time with friends and family. She and Emil would take bus trips to Branson, go camping, and take fishing trips to Canada. In her later years she loved to cook. Pauline was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
