Penelope (Penny) Alice Morick of St. Louis passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel Elizabeth Zeitz, and is survived by her father Kenneth Morick, sister Pamela A. (Jim) DeArk, stepbrother Scott (Barbara) Clarke, and best friend Bonnie Wolfe. Penny was born in Detroit, MI on May 15, 1948. She received her Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Andrews University, in Berrien Springs, MI. After college, she taught in Wisconsin before moving to St. Louis in the mid 1970's. Throughout her career, Penny worked in both the education and private industry before serving for nearly 18 years as Facilities Specialist of Boeing's Aerospace Support/Training Systems. Penny was a long-time member of the St. Louis Mid-Rivers Seventh-day Adventist Church where she faithfully served in various leadership roles. She also was active in many church groups such as the ladies quartet as well as various community organizations. A special memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at the St. Louis Mid-Rivers Seventh-day Adventist Church, 600 Salt Lick, St. Peters, MO 63376.
