Peter Hoyt

Mr. Hoyt died Tuesday August 28, 2001 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles Missouri. He was born June 4, 1913 in Foxford Massachusetts to the late Alvin J. Hoyt and Ruby Burke. Mr. Hoyt was active with the Boy Scouts of America, the Fleet Reserve Association, and the VFW. He was a member of St. Charles Christian Church. Mr. Hoyt also served in the US Navy, the US Marines and the Civil Service. He is survived by his children, David L. (Anna) Hoyt of Wentzville Missouri, and Barbara J. Rose of O'Fallon Missouri, his grandchildren, Teri, Todd, Ryan, James, Angela, Tina, and Alecia, his great grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Kayley, and Kenya, and one sister Annette Minestretta of Tampa Florida. He was preceded in death by one son James F. Hoyt. The famiy has requested that memorials be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
