Phillip E. Sanders

Phillip Eugene Sanders, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Barbara Sanders; cherished son of his late father Lester and mother Helen; devoted father of Tim (Ellie) Sanders, Scott (Beth) Sanders, Kristy (Donny) Moscketti; stepfather of Joe (Kat) Gordick; dogfather to Charlie; Loving grandfather of Kali, Jake, Ame, Jacob, Dennis, Brandon, Marie and Claire; treasured great-grandfather of Hadleigh and Crue; dear brother of Brenda Hunt and Judy Eldridge. 

Phillip proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force and then went into the Missouri National Guard. He had a love for cars, a passion for planes, and enjoyed working on them.  

Phillip was very sociable and never met a stranger. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved animals, especially his dog, Charlie. Phillip enjoyed going out to breakfast and befriending the waitresses; it was a perfect start to his day. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and bragged about them to anyone who would listen. Phillip was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
