Quinn Michael Grooms

Quinn Michael Grooms, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 20. Cherished son of Kelly Marie (William) Murphy and Dennis R. Grooms (Jennifer Axley); loving brother of Jessie Grooms, Crystal Bergerud, Rachel Bragee, Colin Stephenson, Kyra Murphy, and Maxene Henson; treasured nephew of Jeffrey Grooms; dearest grandson of Joey (Kitt) Stephenson, Dennis E. Grooms, Carol L. (the late Daniel) Smith, and the late Carol Schnaare; beloved great-grandson of the late Wilda Jean Stephenson and the late Robert (Ruth) Hawkins.  Quinn is also survived by his crazy black kitten, Loki, and his sweet girlfriend Raina Jaeger.  

Quinn was a graduated firefighter for two years, and he was considered a protector. He loved science, space, and sharks. He was named after a character in his favorite movie, Jaws, which eventually led to him becoming scuba certified. 

Quinn was adventurous and loved being surrounded by nature. Whether he was hunting or just discovering snakes in creeks, he enjoyed the outdoors, and he especially loved the desert mountains. Quinn enjoyed history and being creative, and he was considered a tech genius and loved gaming with his friends.  

Easy going was pretty much Quinn’s middle name. He was very charismatic, loyal, and thoughtful. He loved unconditionally and always wanted to spread happiness wherever he went. He was a good listener and knew when to give advice. He was a good friend and great with kids. Quinn loved his family dearly, and spending time grilling with them was one of his favorite past times. 

Quinn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Quinn's name to Missouri Conservation Department.
