Douglas "Doug" Glynn, age 98 of St. Peters, Missouri, Monday February 19, 2018.
Beloved husband of the late Gladys I. Glynn of almost 71 years; cherished son of the late Frank and Mabel Glynn; devoted father of Doug (Liz) Glynn, Linda (the late Dick) Glynn, Susie (Ron) Glazebrook, and Kathie (Dennis Buerk) Glynn; loving grandfather of Matt (Julie) Glynn, Tyler (Kim) Glynn, Greg (the late Suzie) Glynn, Christie (Trevor) Wolfe, Carrie (Jeff) McCrary, and David Buerk; treasured great-grandfather of Andrew, Ethan, Elizabeth, Cameron, Carson, Dalton, Emily, Molly, Ryan, and Alex. Doug is preceded in death by 4 brothers.
Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Throughout the years, anyone who met Doug, referred to him as “a gentleman.” He had the ability and wisdom to teach honor, integrity, and unconditional love by his example. You could always count on him to give strength when needed, caring and support when wanted, and guidance and protection when necessary. Doug was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
