Rachel Ann Mitten

Mitten, Rachel Ann (nee: Applegate) of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the age of 83. Rachel was born May 28, 1932 to Philip and Lillian Applegate in Kirksville, MO. She was employed by Hammond Photography for 30+ years. Rachel is preceded in death by her husband Aura Mitten and parents. She is survived by her 5 children; Elizabeth (Dr. Mark) Levinson, Jean Mahady, Joyce (Jerry) Presser, Philip (Connie) Mitten, and Mary (Todd) Glascock; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mitten was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1513 and attended Faith United Methodist Church in St. Charles.
