Rachel Jacine Kunza, of Florissant, Missouri, passed away on Sunday September 2, 2018, at the age of 42.
Rachel is the cherished daughter of Robert “Bob” and Mary “Susie” Callison; dear granddaughter of Marie Kunza, beloved sister of Jesse (Leah Perkins) Callison, Ella (Earl Pettengill) Callison, Robert "Bookie" Callison, Derek Callison, Ian Callison and Aaron Callison; beloved aunt of Mary, Ava, Cora, Phoenix, and Jaiden; and recent soulmate of Anthony. Rachel is survived by numerous beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved pet boxer, Ramsey. Rachel was preceded in death by her dear Grandpa Rudy Kunza, and furry corgi buddy, Stu.
Rachel enjoyed reading, cooking exotic feasts for her family, spending time at the Tower Grove and Forest Parks, and taking part in any intellectual conversation. Rachel met many new friends at her recent jobs at Parallon and Serco, but her best friends Jennifer, Brandy, and Tara were with her through thick and thin. Rachel took pride in her alma maters, Hazelwood Central High School, Maryville University, and STLCC at Meramec.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rachel’s honor to Five Acres Animal Shelter or to the family to assist with final funeral expenses.
