Rachelle Lee Jones

Rachelle Lee Jones, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at the age of 43. Beloved daughter of Patricia A. Jones and the late Richard L. Jones; loving mother of Hannah Marie Wills and Clayton James Wills; dear sister of Richard (Joy) Jones and the late Jocelyn Jones-Kreoger; cherished aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many.

Rachelle was a very giving and loving person.  She was outgoing and enjoyed talking with people everywhere she went; she never knew a stranger.

Family was important to Rachelle. She loved her kids dearly, and she always looked forward to attending their school sporting events and activities.  She enjoyed going on float trips and visiting the beach with her family as well.  She liked to bake sweet treats for her kids, and they loved when she made her special monkey bread just for them.

Rachelle enjoyed the outdoors.  Her true passion was horseback riding.  In her younger years, she could be found with her father at the arena riding, practicing, and at various shows across the nation.  They shared a special bond through their love of horses.  Rachelle rode English Style and American Saddle breeds.

Rachelle graduated from Duchesne High School, and received her certification and licensure to go into real estate.  She worked for McBride Homes, and many other home builders, as well as her family’s Lincoln-Mercury dealership, and their Antique Shop.  She loved helping and working with customers throughout her various careers.

There were many things Rachelle was passionate about, but her compassion for women and children in need, drew her to volunteer work with various organizations.  She was very active with the YMCA and their Women’s Wellness Weekend.  She also volunteered with Youth in Need throughout the years.

Rachelle loved fashion, and she always enjoyed finding unique jewelry and purses to dress up her outfits.  Jewelry was another one of her passions, and she even worked at a local jewelry store.  She also became an expert at tie-dyeing and making tie blankets.

Rachelle will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her caring heart, and her love of animals.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Memorial contributions may be made in Rachelle’s name to the YWCA or Bridgeway Behavioral Health.
