Beloved husband of Coeta Schottel; dear son of the late Henry and Eleanor Schottel; devoted father of Monique (Steven) Heppermann, Ervin (Kristine) Schottel, Jeffrey (Shirley) Nackley, and Charles Schottel; cherished grandfather of Tori, Wolfgang, Austin, and Brody Heppermann, Brooke and Evan Schottel, Danny and Jamie Chaplin; dear brother of Henry Schottel, Pat Finley, Arlene O'Keefe, Charles (Ester) Schottel, Juanita (Bill) Gray, Eleanor (Oliver) Schuh, Aurea Baron, and brother-in-law of Al Ruck. He is preceded in death by his daughter Rose Marie Schottel, brother Bill Schottel, and sister Marie Ruck. Ralph was a member of Knights of Columbus, St. Francis DeSales Benevolent Society, and Catholic Knights.
