Ditmeyer, Ralph E. of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Friday August 24, 2018, at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Betty Jo Ditmeyer; cherished son of the late Albert Ditmeyer and Catherine (Arthur) Heimbeucher; devoted father of Denise Pendergast, Chris (Nicole) Ditmeyer, and Sarah (Timothy) Weitzman-Knowlton; loving grandfather of Ryan and Alyssa Pendergast, Sophia, Blake, Brayden, and Bradley Ditmeyer, Adalynn and Libbie Knowlton; beloved dog, Dukey. Loving cousin to Ron (Bette) Andrews and uncle to Ken (Amy) Andrews and great-uncle to Mikey Andrews. Ralph is preceded in death by his three brothers, Bob (Loleta) Ditmeyer, Norman Ditmeyer, and Larry (Peggy) Ditmeyer and his sister Mary Ann Hrebec.
Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. Ralph was a member of the American Legion 444 of Florissant. He was the world's best Bar-B-Quer. Ralph enjoyed fishing & hunting, watching western TV shows, and he was an avid Cardinals Baseball fan. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
