Memorials may be given to Masses BECKERING, Ralph 'Red' D., 78, of O’Fallon MO died June 24, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. He was born May 4, 1927 to Joseph and Lena Beckering in Ethlyn, MO. He retired from McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) after 35 years. He was a WWII veteran of the Merchant Marines and a Korean War Veteran. He was an elected member of the St. Charles County Amateur Hall of Fame for baseball. He is survived by sons, Dave (Sue), Tim (Linda), and Don of St. Charles, Tom (Sherry) of St. Peters, Pete of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Joe (Debbie) of Old Monroe, MO, daughter Sally (Neil) Hazzard of Brandon, Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond of Old Monroe, MO and his sister Wilma (Lee) Jordan of St. Ann, MO. Grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 3. He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Davison Beckering and his son Jeff.
